Recently, “Help ‘n’ Travel” organized a game night for charity with loved ones. A delicious buffet was built, cold drinks and a wide selection of games offered. It was allowed to “feed” a piggy bank in its sole discretion and the content went to the family of my South African godchild Vutomi.
On several occasions I have already reported on Vutomi’s fate. Now it is that this summer is also an operation on the left side of the brave girl’s face. The proceeds of the game evening are meant to cover the expenses for the family’s trip to Johannesburg and for the stay there (for the OP itself, there are no costs for the family).
The game night brought in € 200, – for Vutomi. Thanks to all donors!
A later arrived gift over € 50, – went after consultation with the donor to the “Projekt Kaokoland” in Namibia. (The transfer to South Africa had already been made at this time.)
And so the game night has three great results:
– Dear friends had a reason to meet again and spend a nice time together.
– € 200, – were donated to Vutomi’s family.
– € 50, – were donated to the “Projekt Kaokoland”.
Thanks to all who were there; in particular, to all those who have snobbed and helped shape the buffet; to all who have not let the beverage supply dry up; to all who have been interested in Vutomi’s fate; to all who have donated; to all who filled the evening with positive energy.
Peace!
